Lyme Disease
We have had a high number of dogs test positive for Lyme disease. Lyme disease is transmitted by deer ticks. If your dog is exposed to any ticks, we recommend testing and vaccinating for Lyme disease. The test takes about 10 minutes and is run at the clinic.
Symptoms of Lyme disease include stiffness in joints, lethargy, and/or fever. Some animals won't show any symptoms.
