Meet Dr. Becker
Dr. Khristian Becker grew up in this area and graduated from Maquoketa High School. Following graduation, he attended Iowa State University and majored in Animal Science. After three years of undergraduate coursework at ISU, Khristan Becker was admitted to the College of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University. Following four years of rigorous study, Dr. Becker graduated and received his DVM, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, degree from Iowa State University.
Upon graduation in 1997, Dr. Becker returned to Maquoketa and began working as a Veteranarian at Animal Medical Clinic, where his practice is located today. After serving as a Veterinarian at Animal Medical Clinic for 7 ½ years, Dr. Becker purchased the clinic, and its new name became Becker Veterinary Clinic in January 2005.
For 20 years, Dr. Becker has been a solo practitioner serving Maquoketa and the surrounding area.
Dr. Becker is dedicated to the community and enjoys serving on the Jackson County Board of Public Health and the Jackson County Farm Bureau Board.
